Monday Recovery

I'm still recovering from my trip to LA this past weekend, so I haven't worked up the energy to write a blog about it. Needless to say, it was a great time. I got to see a lot of great places, eat a ton of food, drink some delicious cocktails and walk. A lot. Between Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I put in a little over 20 miles worth of walking. That's a lot considering those days included a 4 hour business meeting and two plane flights. I'm pretty happy with it, but my feet are a little sore. Thank God for my New Balance 1765 walking shoes. I would have died doing that in my ballet flats.

Good thing I did all that walking since this was my breakfast. (Note: this was shared with another person. While I may have wanted to, I assure you I did not eat all 3 donuts)

This week, I am determined to get back into the swing of things and try to maintain the mileage increase that I pulled off last week. Our weather will (thankfully) be a little cooler. My first one is tonight, which should be interesting given the fact that my ankles are still pretty tired from the weekend.

I've also got some lovely yoga and Pilates on the schedule. I missed Pilates last week, so I am hoping that this week's class won't be too difficult (ha!).

My last goal for the week is to actually blog every weekday this week. This is day 1, so I've only got 4 more to go!
