I am gearing up to head to LA for the weekend (which means doing all the laundry I've been ignoring). I've been itching for a bit of a change, so I know that LA will be a nice change of pace, even if it is only for a couple days.
I've been before, but mostly to hit up super touristy things like Disneyland and Universal Studios. This will be more of a take-in-the-city type of trip. Can't wait to spend my time in the sunshine.
It's been a week (and it is only Wednesday). I was supposed to do 2 miles of running yesterday, but my plans got moved around. I hate when that happens. I had a solid plan and what I thought would be plenty of time. Then the people I was meeting changed a few things, which meant fewer and fewer minutes to get my run in. Eventually, I just didn't have time to do it. I thought about moving it to today, but I think I am just going to let it go and do my scheduled run on Thursday.
Life is constantly in the way of actually being able to do what I want to do. No matter how good my plans are, something always manages to knock them out of whack. I wish I had great advice, but I am trying to learn how to simply go with the flow.
