Wednesdays are always hard. There is something about being in the middle of the week that leaves me worn out and anxious for the weekend. No amount of coffee seems to be able to overcome my issues this morning. I have my second 12+ hour day in the office so far (I did a poor job of putting meetings on my calendar) and I did not get enough sleep last night.
On the up side, there are a lot of fun things to look forward to. I've got a yoga class in an hour that I am both excited for and dreading (so much effort!). Tomorrow, I get to sleep in a little and try out a new barre class (more on that later) at a local place.
Friday? Well, I am planning to take a half day so that I can relax, get a few things done around the house and hopefully go for a nice run before it gets too hot.
Thinking about all the wonderful things I have left to do during the week helps me get through hump day with a smile on my face and a little bit of optimism.
