It was a crazy week last week and I expect nothing less of this one. Today I start my AdvoCare 24 day cleanse.
I'm getting used to all the products and trying to figure out how to make it all work together today. Here's how last week in workouts went for me:
Monday: I planned to spend the day resting, and that is exactly what I did.
Tuesday: I planned to do a 2 miles run, but life got in the way. I needed to take care of some important things at home. Fortunately, I'd worked to work that morning, so at least I got 3 miles of walking in.
Wednesday: Typically, I do yoga on Wednesdays, but I really wanted to get my run in. I stuck those two miles in right before my yoga class. I was in a hurry and focused on just getting it done, so somehow ended up running at a 9:04 pace, which is WAY too fast for me. I spent most of yoga coughing and trying to stop sweating and looking like a mess.
Thursday: I did my planned 2.5 mile run at 10:09 pace. My first mile was very slow (partially because of stoplights), but once I got into it, I felt pretty good.Plus, it ended with a gorgeous view of the Fremont Bridge at sunset. I adore running by the river and am trying to get the most out of it while it isn't raining (lots of slick boardwalk type areas that will not go well in winter).
Friday: Planned to rest, but wound up walking home from work. Not too shabby.
Sunday: I planned to do a 3 mile run, but I've been having a few health problems this week that I need to get checked out. As a result, I didn't feel comfortable with running last night. Oh well, I'll make it up later.
